Mass supply and mass demand have been the driving force behind design - and civilisation - for the last 200 years. With global population set to reach 9 billion by 2050, the future is mega and meta. This platform asks how geopolitical shifts, emerging technologies, fluctuating labour and resource supplies and changing mentalities impact the way in which we produce things and the products that are made. Massive shifts and mass demand need new models of mass supply.
